Watch: Canva's $60bn Problem and eBay's Corporate Terrorism Scandal
Special episode out now!
Watch today’s special episode on YouTube as the guys cover the latest news:
Canva’s growth rate has roughly halved in three years, and Adam and Adir make the case that Australia’s most valuable private company is worth nowhere near its US$42 billion mark.
Adir: “Anthropic is a superhuman business, and Canva has come down to just being a very fast human business.”
Adir thinks Canva’s only move now is to sell to OpenAI, in cash, immediately. Adam thinks OpenAI would be mad to buy it!
Meanwhile Figma is growing at 46% and accelerating while Canva decelerates. Adam explains why two design companies are heading in opposite directions.
eBay staff sent a journalist couple a funeral wreath, a bloody pig mask and live insects, then tried to fit a GPS tracker to their car. Last week it settled for US$55.7 million.
The CEO whose pay packet started it all was never charged and left with US$55 million. Adir wants a US$1 billion corporate fine; Adam wants a perp walk. Alas, neither happened.
